Christopher P. Twyman of Cox Byington Twyman LLP in Rome has been chosen to serve as president-elect of the 55,000-member State Bar of Georgia. He was installed during the organization’s annual meeting June 8 at Amelia Island, Florida.

His law practice is focused in the areas of commercial and general business litigation, real estate litigation, banking law, school and education law and criminal defense.

Twyman will be installed as the 63rd president of the State Bar of Georgia in June 2025.
