Ohio man arrested in Cedar City for allegedly kidnapping a California girl
CEDAR CITY — An Ohio man was found Wednesday at a Cedar City gas station with a California teen who had been reported kidnapped. Ryan Gray Patch, 27, of Ohio, was booked into the Iron County Jail on suspicion of felony charges of aggravated kidnapping, endangerment of a child, and misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana/spice and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the police affidavit.

Big Lots in Logan shutting it doors
LOGAN - The Big Lots store at 1617 North Main in Logan is among nearly 150 stores across 28 states that the discount retailer is reportedly closing. The Logan store, along with a location in Layton, will shut its doors, while five other locations in Utah will remain open. The final date of operation for the Logan location is not yet known.
Orem man charged with pointing gun at officers, calling them 'cowards'
OREM — An Orem man wanted by police for absconding is facing new charges accusing him of pointing a gun at officers who went to his house to arrest him. Robin Blaze Thurber, 67, was charged Friday in 4th District Court with four counts of assault on a police officer and possession of a gun by a restricted person, second-degree felonies; and interfering with police, marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, class B misdemeanors.
