Toisnot Rural: Aid for Hurricane Helene Victims

Toisnot Rural Fire Department in the Town of Elm City, has offered its station to be a drop off site for Hurricane Helene victims. Always there when you need them the most, this fire department finds it second nature to help others in their time of crises and natural disaster. Chief Kevin Johnson is pictured (red shirted) at the donation site and has encouraged any and all drop offs to be made no later than Sunday October 6th.

Alongside various community volunteers, Tammie Atkinson (Mayor pro-tem of Elm City) appeared live on site via facebook (Jalen Atkinson), encouraging viewers to join the effort in giving. Atkinson offered the Town of Elm City as a place for drop offs stating, "We want to make sure that they know that small towns such as Elm City, really do care".
