Trial of Pullman man Accused of Killing Estranged Wife Moved to December
PULLMAN - The 1st-degree murder trial against the Pullman man accused of killing his estranged wife has been moved to December. 36-year-old Jacob Spray is accused of killing 25-year-old Jamie Spray last March inside the camper trailer she was residing in in Pullman. Spray was initially set to stand trial later this month in Whitman County Superior Court. He recently waived his right to a speedy trial after prosecutors elevated the charge to 1st-degree murder from 2nd-degree murder.

New Play Debuts At The Gladish In Pullman This Weekend
The Gladish Players will present a new production this weekend in Pullman. “Moving On” is a poignant thought-provoking play by a local playwright. It explores themes of family, perception and love. The play is on Saturday night at 7:00 and Sunday at 3:00 inside the Gladish Community Center. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Semi Driver Suffers Minor Injuries After Crash With Moving Train in Whitman County
COLFAX - A semi crashed into a moving train in western Whitman County on Wednesday afternoon causing minor injuries. The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office reports that the crash occurred around 4:30 in Winona at the intersection of Endicott Road and Winona South Road. The driver of a tractor trailer was turning left off Endicott Road and didn’t see or hear the train with eight cars that was crossing the road and blowing its whistle.
