A car crash in mid-Michigan claimed a Lansing woman’s life. The 76-year-old woman and her 77-year-old husband were struck by a vehicle in the oncoming traffic lane. She died at the hospital. He was seriously injured.
Michigan’s Overall Crash Numbers Fell in 2023

The number of overall traffic crashes and fatalities on Michigan roadways fell slightly in 2023, according to recently released data from the Michigan State Police Criminal Justice Information Center. State gas prices holds steady, up 1 cent from last week
DEARBORN, Mich. (WLUC) - Michigan gas prices are holding steady coming into the week, with an increase of only one cent since last week. According to AAA of Michigan, motorists are now paying an average of $3.58 per gallon of regular unleaded gas, and $53 for a full 15-gallon tank of gas. The national average is also up one cent since last week to $3.52 per gallon, 6 cents less than the state average.
