NEW MAP: Fires burning near the Tongue River surpass 31,000 acres burned
MISSOULA, Mont. — Wildfires burning on either side of the Tongue River have surpassed 31,000 acres burned as of Tuesday morning, according to the latest infrared maps. As of Monday evening, an evacuation warning remained in place for residents along the Tongue River Road from the Tongue River Bridge at Wall Creek to the southern Rosebud County line.
