Cougars, Lady Cougars compete at Area Track Meet

Last week the Rosebud-Lott boys and girls track teams participated in an area track meet hosted by Bosqueville High School.

The Lady Cougars finished in seventh place with 41 points. Results were:

Shot Put: Brooklyn Ballard - 4th place, Chelsey Easter - 3rd place

Pole vault: Alexis Hines - 2nd place

Discus: Kinsley Edwards - 3rd place

200-meter dash: Alexis Hines - 6th place

4x100- 5th place: Alaya Cavitt, Lakia Cummingas, Princess Ponce, Jackie Salazar

4x200 - 3rd place: Aniah Cavitt, Alaya Cavitt, Brooke Skala, Alexis Hines

The Cougars finished in ninth place with 28 points. Results were:

100-meter dash: Jamarcus Johnson - 3rd place

Discus: Garrett Cook - 6th place

Long Jump: Jamarcus Johnson - 1st place

Triple jump: Jamarcus Johnson - 3rd place, Jayden Thomas - 6th place

4x200 - 5th place: Rolando Leon, Gustavo Loera, Carson Kahlig, and Jayden Thomas
