Last day of Fiesta del Sol resumes after pausing due to weather, organizers say
Organizers temporarily paused the 5nd Annual Fiesta del Sol due to weather on Sunday afternoon.The event in Pilsen kicked off its last day at 11 a.m. Organizers paused the festival on Sunday afternoon as wet weather moved through the area, but it picked up again after the rain passed. Man Dies After Tragic Fall at Illinois' Starved Rock State Park Near Chicago
A tragic accident took place at Starved Rock State Park late Saturday afternoon, resulting in the death of a man. The Illinois Department of Natural Resources confirmed the incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. within the Illinois Canyon area of the park, which is located roughly 90 miles southwest of Chicago. The man, whose identity has not been disclosed, sustained fatal injuries from a fall, as per the state officials.
