Licensed clinical professional counselor Megan McGruder has been named to the position that helps support Monmouth students' mental-health needs. John Wirth talked about the Street Cruisers Car Club he started and the Francis Park Fourth of July car, truck, and motorcycle show that he helped bring back after over a decade-long hiatus. The car, truck, and motorcycle show is from 9 AM to 3 PM at Francis Park. Registration for the car show is from 9 AM to 11 AM, and voting takes place from 11 AM to noon. Warrant issued for pit bull owners after dogs attack couple in Peoria
PEORIA (25News Now) - – Two people are facing felony charges Wednesday after their dogs attacked and injured a couple near Bradley University in late June. A report from the Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office showed the office issued an arrest warrant for the suspects, 45-year-old Robert L. Cady and 23-year-old Gabrelle L. Jones. They are facing charges of failure to comply with an order to confine the dogs, resulting in serious physical injury.
