This book is the first story in a new gritty crime drama and legal thriller anthology series from Hayes called Prurient Interests. This tale depicts an addict and recklessly successful trial attorney who is compelled to lose all of his cases by a corrupt city councilman. But after the attorney unearths the formidable skeletons in the councilman’s closet, he questions if the dirt the councilman has on him is truly worth covering.
