    Girl, 15, missing after failing to return to her Roseville home

    UPDATE 7 a.m.: The alert for missing Summer Balfanz has been canceled after she was found safe Monday evening.

    "Thank you to everyone who assisted in locating her and for sharing the information," the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said.

    No details have been provided as to where she was found.

    Twin Cities authorities have issued an appeal to find a 15-year-old girl who failed to return home on Monday.

    The Roseville Police Department says Summer Balfanz left her home on the 900 block of Burke Avenue West on foot at 9:30 a.m., and hasn't been back.

    She is described as 5'5" tall, weighing 165 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.
