Illinois lawmakers push for affordable prescriptions
Two Illinois state lawmakers from the area are pushing legislation to make medicine more affordable. The bill, HB3493, would establish a prescription drug affordability board. Rep. Gregg Johnson and Sen. Mike Halpin went over the bill during a town hall meeting at the UAW Hall in East Moline.
