Gov. Beshear tours west Louisville tornado damage; provides update on response efforts
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Gov. Andy Beshear toured the tornado damage in west Louisville on Friday. Louisville Metro Mayor Craig Greenberg, Louisville Metro Emergency Services Jody Meiman and State Sen. Gerald Neal toured with him at 1:45 p.m. on Catalpa Street, which is one of the streets an EF-1 tornado touched down on Independence Day.

Lexington council panel briefed on housing stability services

It happened after federal rental assistance dollars tied to the COVID pandemic were exhausted. Lexington Council members got an update on housing stability services earlier this week. Housing Policy Advisor Jonathan Wright said the number of eviction warrants has stayed low as compared to before the pandemic. Wright said it is the lowest of the years examined from 2019 to 2024.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - The annual Aviation Summer Camps are back at the Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport. The camps partner with the Aviation Museum of Kentucky based in Lexington.
