The building is a poured, 2-story modern Deco style building with both horizontal and vertical elements on the front façade. It has been repurposed for use by the local YMCA. A barrel vault over the gymnasium is visible at the rear.
Goodin headed into senior season at EKU
Defensive back Tré Goodin is headed into his senior season with the Eastern Kentucky University football team. Goodin, a Taylor County High School graduate, played in all 11 of Eastern Kentucky’s games during the 2023 college football season. As a junior, Goodin recorded 14 tackles and one pass breakup.
