Dorsey Alston Realtors agent Harvin Greene has shattered her previous record with the sale of a Druid Hills home for $9 million.

The sale of 822 Oakdale Road sets a new milestone for the highest-priced sale ever recorded in Druid Hills and DeKalb County. Initially offered for $8.6 million, this historic property drew multiple offers and sold in two weeks.

In June, Greene made headlines when she sold a Druid Hills property for $8 million .

The latest record-breaking property was originally built in 1929 and has been meticulously renovated over the past four years, according to Greene.

The project – a collaboration between the sellers, architect Cody Patton of Patton Architects, and interior designer Hope Austin of Austin Home Interiors – transformed the home into an estate.

Set on a one-acre lot, the property includes a newly added pool house complete with a Trackman golf simulator, art studio, and guest accommodations. The home features luxury details such as Schumacher, Romo, and Kravet fabrics, Circa lighting, and custom steel doors and windows.

The renovation also introduced modern amenities such as a WhisperKOOL-enabled wine cellar, a full gym, and a Tesla charger-equipped three-car garage.

The outdoor space has a 900-square-foot pool, a 24-hole chipping course, a bocce court, and a 5,600-square-foot green sports lawn.

The house does not look that large. It must be a lot of land.
