Superintendent of Lockport Township High School District 205 Bob McBride shared a video on the progress being made at the Central Campus following a ceiling collapse at the school last November. The good news is that Lockport High School Central campus will welcome students back to the school on Monday, August 19th. Edison Park Grocery Store At Former Happy Foods Could Open This Year
EDISON PARK — The grocery store and cafe filling the closed Happy Foods in Edison Park could open before the end of the year, the owner said. EP Market is taking over the space at 6783 N. Northwest Highway, which has sat empty for almost two years. The family-owned market will include a cafe, bakery and taqueria, co-owner Eduardo Haro said. The store will offer a wide- range of groceries and prepared foods that “really cater to the neighborhood,” said Chris Vittorio, chief of staff for Ald. Anthony Napolitano (41st).
