Neighbors continue to look for missing 82-year-old Skokie woman
SKOKIE, Ill. (CBS) – A north suburban community was still trying to locate an 82-year-old woman who went missing in Skokie on Monday.Tsering Wangyal was on her way to a prayer meeting, and she had no mental or physical limitations that might have explained her absence. She was last seen around 3:30 p.m. on Monday in the area of the 9500 block of Bronx Place, according to police.She is a 5-foot-1, 160-pound Asian American woman with silver hair and brown eyes. IDOT worker injured in Marengo; woman charged
A Shannon, Ill. woman has been charged with two felonies after allegedly striking an IDOT road repair worker with her car in Marengo. Starlet Stoffel, 30, was driving on U.S. 20 (West Grant Highway) at Park Drive in Marengo at 11 a.m. July 10 when she struck an Illinois Department of Transportation flagman who was controlling traffic at a road repair site, Marengo police said.

Two men accused of street racing before a pedestrian was struck and killed in Chicago's Clearing neighborhood 2022 were sentenced to probation earlier this week, court records show.Both Aaron Guerrero and Noe Garcia pleaded guilty Tuesday to reckless homicide with a motor vehicle.ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7.
