Leading with Heart: York Hospital nears fundraising goal for new cardiac lab
YORK, Maine — York Hospital has raised $4.9 million toward its $6.4 million goal for the Petrovich Peterson Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Ellsworth, Maine (WABI) -An Ellsworth Museum allows visitors to step back in time by simply picking up the phone. “Sometimes they come in here not interested, and about halfway through, all of a sudden it takes, and then they enjoy it,” says David Thompson, Assistant Treasurer at the Telephone Museum.
Danny Caputo Commits to Southern Maine
An '03 from Lanoka Harbor, NJ, Caputo played in 68 Eastern Hockey League (EHL) games over the course of two seasons. In the 2022-23 season, he began with the New Jersey 87's, recording a goal and two assists in 14 games. He then moved to the Connecticut Chiefs, where he recorded a goal and six assists in 17 games. This past year, he captained the Boston Jr. Terriers, playing 37 games and recording three goals and nine assists to his credit.

Man Accused in Maine Child Death Held on $250K Bail
A man who's accused of causing the death of a child who stopped breathing at a Maine Walmart is being held on $250,000 bail. Aziayh Scott, 23, of Owls Head was arrested in New Orleans, Louisiana in June and charged with manslaughter for the death of Quayshawn Wilson, 22-months old, of Owls Head. Police say Scott is originally from Louisiana, but had recently moved to Maine and was living with his girlfriend and their child. Scott and the child's mother moved back to Louisiana after Quayshawn died.
