Rowan Chamber hires new member services and marketing manager

SALISBURY— The Rowan Chamber of Commerce announced that it hired Sydney Trexler Murphy as its new member services and marketing manager.

Murphy joins the chamber with experience in marketing and communication, most recently in the health care industry. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor of arts in strategic communications. She is a native of Rowan County and is married. Her first day on the job will be Monday, June 10.

“Sydney will be an excellent addition to our team and we are looking forward to her working with our Leadership Rowan programs, special events and marketing/communications,” said Chamber President Elaine Spalding.
