Man wanted for statutory rape of a child
ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies are asking for the public's help searching for a man accused of statutory rape of a child. Deputies with the Rowan County Sheriff's Office responded to a home outside of Salisbury on May 18 to check the welfare of a young girl. While deputies got there, they found a 12-year-old and an 18-year-old at the home. Officers found evidence suggesting the two had been "sexually involved," leading to further investigation.
A Gold Hill teenager is wanted for statutory rape of a child
An 18-year-old Gold Hill man is wanted for statutory rape of a child, according to the Rowan County Sheriff's Office. The sheriff's office said on May 18, deputies with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) responded to a call for service requesting officers to check the welfare of a juvenile female at a home on Paradise Drive outside of Salisbury. While there, it was discovered that another juvenile, 12 years of age, and an 18-year-old male were present in the home.

The Rowan County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man wanted for statutory rape of a child. Deputies say 18-year-old Steward Callahan-Fletcher was arrested on May 18, after he was found in a Salisbury home with a 12-year-old girl during a welfare check.
