Sheriff: Man arrested, charged with solicitation of juvenile
ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) - A man in Rowan County has been arrested and charged with solicitation of a juvenile for sex, according to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office states that on June 2, they received information about a man who was soliciting sex from a 14-year-old through Snapchat.

Vape shop owner accused of trying to meet 14-year-old on Snapchat for sex reported by girl's mom
ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — A Kannapolis business owner is behind bars after investigators said he tried meeting a 14-year-old girl on Snapchat for sex. Mohamed Al-Hareurey is facing several charges related to the incident. He was arrested by Rowan County deputies and charged with soliciting a child by computer and soliciting child prostitution. He is being held under a $250,000 bond.
