Stroll in the Park Coming July 25th
The City of La Mirada’s popular summer event, Stroll in the Park, returns Thursday, July 25 at Creek Park from 5 to 8:30. Night Market vendors will be on site selling delicious food at 5 p.m. The evening’s musical entertainment starts at 6:30 p.m. and will feature performances by the 1960s Pop and Soul band “Soul3Sixty,” Latin, Pop, and Salsa band “Tabu,” and High Arena Rock band “Typical Gypsys.” Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.

Abused German Shepherd Argon rehabilitates in Orange County
The abused and abandoned German Shepherd Argon, found in Malibu Canyon over the July 4 weekend with his muzzle and neck zip-tied, arrived in Orange County on Wednesday, July 10 for treatment and tenderness. Local animal rescue group German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County (GCROC) located in Newport Beach, took Argon under their wing to provide veterinary care and emotional healing. Argon is currently recovering at Saddleback Animal Hospital in Tustin, while undergoing additional testing to determine the best course of treatment.

Montclair Place, 5060 E. Montclair Plaza Ln., has partnered with Claremont nonprofit Shoes That Fit for a July 20 to August 20 back-to-school drive. Visitors to Montclair Place’s Center Court will find a display with tags with a child’s first name, gender, and shoe size.
