ROXBURY, NJ – Two of four people suspected of burglarizing the Couture Traders store in Ledgewood last month have been charged in relation to the incident, according to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office (MCPO).

It said both suspects, Marcus K. Gallmon, 20, and Andre Harrison, 22, are from Washington, DC. They were charged on June 21 with theft by unlawful taking, conspiracy, burglary, criminal mischief, possession of burglary tools, resisting arrest, obstruction and hindering, said the prosecutor’s office.

Both are scheduled to appear July 29 before state Superior Court Judge Ralph Amirata for a pre-indictment conference.

“The MCPO cannot comment on the current status of the remaining two individuals,” said the office’s spokesperson, Meghan Knab. “The investigation remains ongoing.”

The June 18 burglary of Couture Traders, which resells luxury handbags, was the fourth this year at the store, according to co-owner Dan DAlessandro. Nobody was caught the prior three times, he said.

However, Roxbury police arrived at the business at about 5:24 a.m. on June 18, just in time to be able to chase on foot and arrest one of the burglars and to pursue, in vehicles, three others, according to the MCPO and DAlessandro.

The thieves ended up crashing the getaway car in Parsippany and all three were seriously injured, authorities said.
