11 travel content creators to discover Sheboygan's hidden charms

Sheboygan, “The Malibu of the Midwest,” will welcome content creators for the Midwest Travel Network Writer’s Workshop from Oct. 8-11. What travel journalist can resist a title like that? None.

Emmy-winning author Theresa Goodrich of The Local Tourist leads the workshop at the Blue Harbor Resort. To spark creativity, the attendees will visit several Sheboygan attractions. They’ll return home primed to promote Sheboygan’s fall colors, waterfront, cuisine, and art scene.

“We’re excited to spotlight Sheboygan and to show off its lakeside wonders,” Midwest Travel Network Co-Founder Sara Broers said. “The writer’s workshop empowers our members to make their destination partners shine.”

Sheboygan will receive increased attention with this menu of delights laid before the travel journalists. Increased attention brings more visitors who leave revenue with businesses and local governments.

Therefore, when you see Visit Sheboygan staff accompanying a gaggle of content creators, be excited and say hello. Your community will benefit from their visit.
