Happy holidays? The Hanover Theatre beats the heat by celebrating 'Christmas in July'
The winter holiday season will come a little early to The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts. The third annual "Christmas in July" extravaganza, set for July 25 at the Hanover, inside and outside the theater will offer the opportunity to beat the heat by getting in the cool spirit of the holidays with music, a sing-along, games such as the popular reindeer ring toss, and the opportunity to take photos with Mr. and Mrs. Claus in their summer gear.
Boylston author's murder mystery puts theater, Tourette syndrome center stage
Author Scott Lyerly says his murder mystery novel "The Last Line" is "the result of two things deeply meaningful to me: theater and Tourette syndrome." Man seriously injured after being hit by pickup truck in Worcester
A man was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries Tuesday night after they were hit by a pickup truck in Worcester. Worcester Police officers responded to reports of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle around Park Avenue and Pleasant Street at 5:44 PM. Arriving officers discovered a fifty-four-year-old man with serious head injuries. He was taken to the hospital. The operator of the Dodge Ram that stuck the man stayed at the scene, Worcester police say.
