Funcom has announced that the upcoming open-world survival MMO Dune: Awakening will launch in early 2025 for PC via Steam, and at a later date for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Additionally, the publisher released a new five minute trailer showing “a player’s rise from scavenging and survival to mobilizing an entire guild in the hunt for spice.”

Developer Grinding Gear Games announced during the Gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live broadcast that its isometric action RPG Path of Exile 2 will be playable via Early Access starting on November 15, 2024. The game is slated for release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, though it doesn't have a formal release date.

As part of Gamescom Opening Night Live, NEXON and Neople revealed a new trailer for The First Berserker: Khazan, revealing that the game will release in Early 2025 for PlayStation 5, PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X|S. Additionally, they revealed that there will be a Technical Closed Beta for the game that will run from October 11 to October 20 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X (S will not be available for the test). Players can sign up for the Beta on PlayStation 5 through the game's main website. Xbox Series X players can join the test on a first-come-first-serve basis through the Xbox Insider App once the test has gone live.

Legendary voice actress Atsuko Tanaka has died at age 61. News of the star’s passing comes from her son and fellow voice actor, Hikaru Tanaka, who made an announcement on X/Twitter.
