Michael Denning Nominated for 2024 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team
TOLEDO, Ohio — University of Toledo placekicker Michael Denning has been nominated for the 2024 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. A Sidney, Ohio native, Denning will be entering his second season with the Rockets this fall and is pursuing his MBA in administration. He averaged 57.2 yards on 50 kickoffs last year and is slated to continue in that role this season. Before becoming a Rocket, Denning graduated from Dayton in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in business economics and was a three-time Pioneer Football League Academic Honor Roll member.
