18-wheeler dumps beer all over Oxford street, police say
OXFORD, Miss. - There may be 99 bottles of beer on the wall, but there were even more on an Oxford street Wednesday morning. An 18-wheeler lost a load of beer around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21. Oxford Police (OPD) said Jefferson Avenue between North Lamar and North 9th Street was shut down due to the beer spill.

Greenville Police Charge Father After Infant Dies in Hot Car
A Greenville man has been charged with felony child deprivation after his infant son was found dead in a car on Monday. The Greenville Police Department received a call from the 700 block of Manilla Street reporting that the father, Rapheal Montgomery, had not returned home with his 3-month-old child.
