The Omaha Suburban Rotary held its annual car show on June 1, 2024, to raise money for its youth programs. More than 1,500 attendees raised $44,000 at the event, which donated 100% of its proceeds to grade school and high school programs. St. Joseph Mustangs put up 17 runs in home win over Clarinda
(ST. JOSEPH, MO) - The St. Joseph Mustangs baseball team defeated the Clarinda Athletics, 17-7 in 8 innings on Saturday night. St. Joseph scored 9 runs in the first two innings alone. Don Felix finished 3-for-3 with 4 RBI for the Mustangs, Jordan Black finished 2-for-5 with 5 RBI, including a 3-run home run in the 8th inning. North Central Missouri College announces the start of two new programs for the Savannah campus this fall: Commercial Power Equipment and Massage Therapy. Horton woman sent to hospital after I-70 crash Friday in Shawnee County
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Horton woman was sent to the hospital after an I-70 crash on Friday in Shawnee County. The Kansas Highway Patrol Online Crash Logs stated that around 2:51 p.m. on Friday, July 19, a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu and a 2012 Honda Odyssey were traveling eastbound on I-70, just east of MacVicar, in Shawnee County. The Honda Odyssey slowed due to traffic when the Chevrolet Malibu rear-ended the back of the Honda Odyssey.
City Of Manning Donating A Newly Developed Lot To The IKM-Manning School District
The Manning City Council has approved donating one of the Stadium View Drive lots to the IKM-Manning School District for the school’s upcoming trade project. Back in June, the school district approved partnering up with Manning Municipal Utilities (MMU) to provide students with a work-based learning of the different trades used when constructing a new house. The City of Manning will donate one of the lots from the Stadium View pocket neighborhood to be the permanent location for the students’ project. Once completed, the house will become available for purchase by interested buyers. The other homes in the neighborhood are currently being designed and constructed by Origin Homes, a custom-home building contractor based out of West Des Moines.
