Kentucky dentist arrested in murder case allowed to continue managing practice
A Kentucky dentist arrested in connection with a murder that took place in 2023 will be able to continue managing his dental practice, CBS affiliate WYMT reported Aug. 19. Michael McKinney Jr., DMD, is the owner of Floyd County Smiles in Minnie and Prestonsburg, Ky. He was arrested July 30 and charged with seven counts of complicity to tampering with physical evidence in connection to the 2023 murder of Amber Spradlin. Dr. McKinney pleaded not guilty to the charges July 31, the Appalachian News-Express reported.
