WEST JEFFERSON — The Ashe County Democratic Party (ACDP) had a strong turnout of volunteers and visitors at its booth during the Christmas in July Festival in West Jefferson. The festival was a big success for the community with sunny weather and a large crowd that enjoyed live Blue Grass and Country music, classic and ethnic foods, and homemade crafts. Winston-Salem Police charge two in June 20 shooting death case
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Two suspects have been charged by Winston-Salem Police in the June 20 shooting death of John Wesley Ingram. On July 12, detectives say they arrested Jaykora Tashon Hart, who faces felony Conspiracy to Commit Murder and felony General Murder charges. Hart was not allowed bond, and remains in the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center.
