Men's Soccer Opens with Draw
The Muhlenberg men's soccer team began the 2024 season with a scoreless tie against Alvernia. The Mules played a man up for the majority of the match after the Golden Wolves were issued a red card in the 10th minute. Lori L. Mast, 63, of Amity Township, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 9:11 pm at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital. Born in Reading, Ms. Mast was the daughter of Carol E. (Showers) Mast of Sinking Spring and the late Jack R. Mast. She attended Zion Mennonite Church in Birdsboro and was employed by Limerick Power Plant. Ms. Mast is survived by her daughter, Angelique S. Laird wife of David E. Laird Jr. of Amity Township and her grandson Dakota J. Laird. She is also survived by her siblings; Timothy P. Mast of Temple, Todd T. Mast of Temple, Kimberly N. Keller wife of Rick L. Keller of Muhlenberg Township and nephew, Joshua A. Keller. A Private Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
