FARIBAULT, Minn. — A police pursuit escalated to a standoff on Interstate 35 before law enforcement resolved it without any injuries Sunday afternoon near Faribault. According to the Rice County Sheriff's Office, police pursued a vehicle until it stopped on northbound I-35 south of Faribault around 3 p.m. A man left the vehicle and pulled out a handgun before walking into southbound traffic lanes.

BLAINE, Minn. (FOX 9) - Two teachers at Blaine daycare center have been charged after being caught on surveillance video being rough with multiple infants in their care. Chloe Kaye Johnson, 24, and Elizabeth Augusta Wiemerslage, 22, have both been charged with felony malicious punishment of a child under four, third-degree assault against a victim under four and two counts of gross misdemeanor malicious punishment of a child.
