KDHE: Boil water advisory issued for McCracken in Rush County
TOPEKA – The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has issued a boil water advisory for the City of McCracken public water supply system located in Rush County. The advisory took effect on July 3, 2024, and will remain in effect until the conditions that placed the system at risk of bacterial contamination are resolved.
Survey for guardrail improvements in Barton, Rush counties
A field survey for proposed K-4 guardrail improvements will begin soon in Rush and Barton counties. The survey for the Kansas Department of Transportation will be 7 miles east of the K-4/U.S.183 junction at La Crosse, in Rush County. The survey also will be almost a quarter of a mile east of the K-4/120th Avenue junction near Claflin, in Barton County. The survey length is about 1,000 feet. It will be based on the existing alignment.
