July 4th mass shooting: Chicago women died shielding children from gunfire
CHICAGO - A mass shooting in Grand Crossing on Chicago’s South Side early Thursday morning left two women and an 8-year-old child dead. On Thursday evening, the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office shared that the 8-year-old boy had succumbed to his injuries. 48-year-old Monroe City man dies in ATV crash
A fatal ATV accident occurred on Cincinnati Road, half a mile south of Ariel Lane, nine miles southeast of Monroe City on July 3, 2024, at approximately 7:20 p.m. William C. Sweet, a 48-year-old man from Monroe City, Missouri, was driving a 1999 Honda ATV northbound when he drove off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
