White Oak man accused of trying to steal 21 guns arrested in Rusk County
RUSK COUNTY, Texas — An East Texas man accused of attempting to steal 21 guns from a home near Lake Cherokee was arrested Sunday. Mark Wiggins, 65, of White Oak, has been charged with burglary, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and theft of a firearm, according to the Rusk County Sheriff's Office. He was booked into the Rusk County Justice Center and received bonds totaling $65,000.

White Oak man accused of theft of guns, burglary of Rusk County residence
HENDERSON, Texas (KLTV) - A man is in the Rusk County Jail Tuesday after he was allegedly caught with stolen firearms and accused of burglary. Mark Wiggins, 65, of White Oak, was arrested on Monday. It happened after a Rusk County deputy was called to investigate a report of burglary of a residence in progress near Lake Cherokee. Probable cause was developed that led to the arrest of Wiggins, according to the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office.
