Vote could lead to investigation into bankruptcy of Steward Health Care, subpoena of CEO
Washington, D.C. — The Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) will hold a bipartisan vote Thursday to authorize an investigation into the bankruptcy of Steward Health Care and subpoena the company's CEO, according to a release from the office of Senator Bernie Sanders, who chairs the committee.

Farmer Dies in Suspected Killer Bee Attack Near Huntsville, Texas
Bryce Harold Smith, 75, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, after being stung by numerous bees. The attack happened on the man's property just south of Bedias, Texas. HOUSTON (AP) — The number of Texas deaths after Hurricane Beryl came ashore and knocked out power to millions of residents climbed to at least 36 on Thursday as officials confirmed more people who died in homes that were left without air conditioning during sweltering heat.
