The Warren School Board met for its monthly meeting on Monday, July 22. The board made a motion to approve the minutes from the previous month’s meeting. All were in favor. The financial report was then presented. A motion was made to approve the financial report, and all were in favor.

ROGERS, Ark. — The Rogers City Council unanimously approved new land code standards on July 23, effectively redesigning the city's approach to developmental design. The City of Rogers Unified Development Code (UDC), the document that controls how things are built in the city, is arguably one of the most urban-development minded plans in the region, maybe even the state, with a specific emphasis on promoting walkability, increasing housing, and preserving nature.
Arkansas secures commitment from 2025 5-star point guard
One of the nation’s top uncommitted 2025 prospects has now officially made a decision as to where he will play college basketball, as highly-touted point guard Darius Acuff Jr. has committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks. Acuff announced his commitment to Arkansas on Friday afternoon over two other finalists in the Kansas Jayhawks and Michigan Wolverines. As mentioned previously, Acuff is one of the nation’s top overall prospects, considered as a five-star point guard out of IMG Academy in Florida. Acuff, the nation’s No. 8 overall player in the 2025 class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, is also the top point guard in the country, as well as the No. 2 player in the state of Florida. The commitment of Acuff is now the first in Arkansas’ 2025 recruiting class, which also makes the Razorbacks the lone SEC program to receive a five-star commitment so far this cycle. Arkansas 2024 fall camp schedule begins Wednesday
The Arkansas football fall camp schedule will officially begin Wednesday evening with practice No. 1. The Razorbacks are set to have 25 practices in 29 days to gear up for the season opener against Arkansas-Pine Bluff at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock on Thursday, Aug. 29. Teen volunteers get hands-on experience at Baptist Heath Fort Smith

The teens were volunteers, and the emergency professionals had come to the hospital to give them an up-close look at their job.
