Russell Springs man arrested by KSP following traffic stop
A Russell Springs man was arrested by Kentucky State Police following a traffic stop Saturday night. According to reports, 27-year-old Zeremieh Wallace was arrested by Kentucky State Police and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance – second degree, and failure to maintain insurance, along with other traffic violations.
Area Law Enforcement conduct Drug and Warrant Round Up
The Kentucky State Police, Russell County Sheriff’s Office,Russell Springs Police Department, Members from the Columbia Police Department, Russell County Attorneys Office, Commonwealth Attorney’s Office, and K-9s from Both Agencies, and other Law Enforcement Agencies were all involved today in a Drug Trafficking Round up along with other warrants,that started @ 0500 this Morning 7/10/2024. Multiple Search Warrants in Russell County Alone has resulted in Stolen Items and Firearms being Recovered. Tips processed by Local Agencies were passed on to the Drug Investigations Section of the Kentucky State Police. Lengthy Investigations by Undercover Officers from the Kentucky State Police resulted in the Following individuals being arrested , with some of those being served with additional warrants and additional charges. Also numerous other warrants were served on other individuals during the Round-Up besides the ones in the Original Investigation’s. The Following Individuals were arrested thru out the Day, as of 2:00 PM with some being Released shortly after being taken into custody. Here is a list of those Individuals.

A London man was lodged into the Russell County Detention Monday on several Driving related charges. Orbis Nieves, age 44, was arrested by Deputy Phipps, with the Russell County Sheriff’s Office, just before 7 last evening. He was charged with Operating on a Suspended or Revoked Operators License, Reckless Driving, Speeding 11 mph Over Limit and for Driving a Motor Vehicle and Texting.
