Hawks Open 2024 with Sweep of Anna Maria
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The Hartford women's volleyball team opened up competition on Saturday defeating Anna Maria in a 3-0 (25-12, 25-13, 25-20) sweep. The AMCATS earned an early 3-2 lead in the first set before a 10-0 Hawk run sparked by five sophomore Jordan Murphy (East Hampton, Conn.) kills. Kills by freshman Emily Theobald (Verona, N.J.) and freshman Tiffany Mendez (Bay Shore, N.Y.) kept Hartford rolling leading by a 17-6 margin. The Hawks closed the first set in style with a 5-1 run with a kill for Jo. Murphy and another for junior Juliana Robinshaw (South Windsor, Conn.).

Cross Country Begins Season at Ken O’Brien Minuteman Invite
AMHERST, Mass. – The Boston University cross country teams opened their season at the Ken O'Brien Minuteman Invite at UMass on Saturday. The men's squad finished third with 75 points and the women's squad finished fourth with 83 points.
