    33-year-old Russell man charged with Strangulation

    RUSSELL, N.Y. (WWTI) – St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies charged a 33-year-old man from Russell with two Class D Felonies and a Misdemeanor, according to St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s office.

    According to police, Tyler J. Moore was charged with Class D Felonies — Strangulation 2nd degree and Criminal possession of a weapon — and a Misdemeanor Menacing 2nd degree after a domestic incident that occurred in the Town of Russell on Monday, June 24. A stay-away order of protection was put in place in favor of the victims.

    According to the Sheriff’s office, Moore was arraigned in Russell Town Court, where he was remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility on $1000 cash bail. He is to appear in Russell Town Court at a later date.
