Resurfacing Work to Close Lanes on I-840 in Rutherford County
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will be conducting weekend lane and ramp closures on Interstate 840 in Rutherford County. Crews with Jones Bros. Contractors will conduct lane and ramp closures beginning Friday, July 12 at 8 p.m. until Monday, July 15 at 5 a.m. One lane will remain open.

Poplar Hill is expected to relieve overcrowding at Stewarts Creek and Blackman elementary schools. School colors are green and white with a metallic gold accent and its mascot is the coyote.

Early Voting for August 1st Election Day Begins Friday
MURFREESBORO – Early voting ahead of the August 1st elections will be held at nine locations across Rutherford County starting Friday through July 27th. Voters will choose several candidates in Murfreesboro and Rutherford County offices as well as select primary nominees for federal and state legislative offices. These primary winners will advance to the November 5th election day.
