Murfreesboro Fire Department responded to a house fire Wednesday afternoon. The house fire occurred on Tomahawk Drive, prompting the department to close the road. No one was believed to been home at the time of the fire. The cause is under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office.

She was surrounded by loved ones as she left this life, just as the 4th of July fireworks display began.
