Sunset on Belcourt, a new restaurant and cigar lounge coming to Belcourt Avenue, will open this summer, featuring cocktails, tapas, live music and specialty cigars. From the owners of Supper Club on Belcourt, Bungalow10 and Jar Tapas + Cocktail, this marks the fourth business venture in Hillsboro Village for business group Make a Play Hospitality, and completes the “Belcourt Square”, the hospitality group’s vision for the conglomerate of all four businesses on Belcourt Ave.
Harper’s Steakhouse Launches Brunch and Happy Hour
Harper’s Steakhouse, the experiential steakhouse from Milkshake Concepts that has quickly become a city favorite, has launched a Saturday brunch service and a weekday happy hour. Brunch is offered every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the new Happy Hour is available every Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. exclusively at the bar.
Murfreesboro City Council Questions NOTES Live Development Changes
The Murfreesboro City Council may be moving to take back the 20 acres they gave to the developers of the Notes Live project, that is now being called VENU. According to a recent WGNS interview of councilwoman Jami Averwater, the developers recently came back to the city with revised plans that would add 2,000 more seats and remove both the restaurant and the event hall. The development is to be located across from The Fountains.
