CAVE CITY, Ky. – A man is facing multiple charges after police say they located a vehicle stolen out of Tennessee. The Cave City Police Department says it responded Thursday shortly before midnight to 819 Sanders St. in reference to a male outside of the parking trying to break into vehicles.

Attorneys have petitioned the court to seal the case against the man accused of killing a missing University of Mississippi graduate whose body has never been found. Prosecutors and defense attorneys have petitioned the Lafayette County Circuit Court to seal the case against Sheldon “Timothy” Herrington Jr., who was arrested on July 22, 2022, and charged with killing Jimmy “Jay” Lee in 2022. He was indicted on a capital murder charge and has been out on a $250,000 bond since December 2022.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - An 18-year-old turned himself in after he was wanted for throwing a firework into a Parkway Village gas station, injuring two employees, records show. Jarquivous Jones, of Memphis, was charged with aggravated arson, reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon/explosive and vandalism, according to the Memphis Police Department.
