Man accused of driving dead man’s vehicle faces more charges
MARION, N.C. (828newsNOW) — A man who was arrested after he was seen driving a vehicle that belonged to a dead man is facing more charges related to the incident. Scotty Keith Styles, 48, was arrested April 24 by McDowell County Sheriff’s Office deputies and U.S. Marshals after Black Mountain police officers provided information that Styles was operating DeAndre “Desmond” Clark’s vehicle on April 23 in Black Mountain. Clark’s body was found by McDowell County sheriff’s deputies earlier that day behind an abandoned business on Batcave Road.
