Baseball receives ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award
The Holy Cross baseball team has received the American Baseball Coaches Association's Team Academic Excellence Award, the organization has announced. This is the seventh consecutive year that the Crusaders have received the award. In order to be eligible for the award, programs must be coached by ABCA members and have posted a grade point average of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale for the entire 2023-24 academic year. GRAFTON – Silver Lake Beach had to be closed on Thursday, July 25, due to the presence of cyanobacteria in the water. According to the Recreation Department, “When the beach staff arrived Thursday morning for their usual job duties, a visual inspection of the water indicated potential cyanobacteria blooms in the water.
