Person struck and killed by MBTA Red Line train at South Station
There are severe delays on the MBTA Red Line after a person was struck and killed by a train at Boston's South Station on Wednesday, according to T officials. It's believed the victim entered the tracks intentionally as a train was approaching, according to MBTA Transit Police Supt. Richard Sullivan. He was struck and died of his injuries.

Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred on Monday night in Danbury, New Hampshire. State police said in a press release Tuesday that they responded to a residential location in Danbury shortly after 10 p.m. Monday for a report of a shooting. Suspected Thief Arrested in Boston with Over $3,400 in Stolen Merchandise
Yesterday afternoon, a pursuit led to the arrest of Jamonte Smith, a 24-year-old resident of Dorchester, for his involvement in a significant theft of merchandise. Boston Police from the District B-3 Anti-Crime Unit tracked down and recovered items valued at approximately $3,495. The arrest occurred at about 2:55 PM near Washington Street and Eldon Street in Mattapan, according to a report from the Boston Police Department.
