Co-event coordinator Matt Brandvold said 12 area businesses competed in the pulled pork cook-off on Thursday, July 11th. The judges voted i3G Media as the best out of the dozen choices with a variety of recipes of pulled pork. Our thanks to the judges for their generous vote for us.

Minnesota Man Vanished in River After Rescuing His Children
Elk River, MN (KROC-AM News) - A search effort continues this afternoon along the Mississippi River on the northwestern edge of the Twin Cities. The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office says the search was launched late Friday morning after deputies responded to a section of the river in Elk River after receiving reports that a man had gone underwater and failed to resurface. The 911 call came in around 11:45 AM.
