FARGO, N.D. – Right-handed pitcher Joey Danielson has been selected by the Texas Rangers with the 525th pick in the 17th round of the 2024 MLB Draft on Tuesday afternoon. Danielson appeared in 62 games over five seasons on the mound for NDSU. His 62 appearances ranked tied for eighth all-time in NDSU history. The North Dakota State women's track & field team and 10 of its individual student-athletes were honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as All-Academic performers, the organization announced this week. As a team, the Bison women recorded a cumulative grade point average of 3.61 to earn the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award for the 19th consecutive season.
